We have big problem on our hands.
It is estimated by the ipcc that if we don't enforce strict emission limits our atmosphere would warm by about 4.5 degrees Celsius, while that may not sound like a big change, hopefully this {http://xkcd.com/1379/} will help demonstrate just how big of a change that is. By putting very aggressive restrictions on ALL greenhouse gasses we could likely limit this change. Not only do we need to restrict the amount of greenhouse gasses produced, we should do more things that help keep the production of greenhouse gasses down, I.e. taxing petroleum products more, giving alternatives to driving, and adding more incentive to produce green electricity. We've put this off for long enough, its time to act now.
