English has always been our language. I beleive that we as a nation are known all over the world by our language. When we speak, people know we are American. All other enthnic groups/nationalities that came here had to learn our language. The single common denominator of our melting pot society is our language. No matter what language we spoke or still speak at home, when we leave our house we conduct business, socialize, shop, play, whatever, we speak English. Packaging was not changed/business was conducted in English only/forms and applications were not changed to bilingual to accomodate ANY language etc. We are a nation of multi cultures/religions/heritage and languages. The English language is our only common bond as a nation
