Initiate an amendment to the US Constitution implementing term limits on Senate and House of Representative positions.

Created by W.S. on March 11, 2013

Just as our Constitution places term limits upon the Office of the President to prevent tyranny so should the Senate and House of Representatives have term limits.

Elected officials for the betterment of the nation should not feel a sense of entitlement for the office they are elected.
Forcing new blood, opinions, and directions in the legislative branch of the USA will ensure that new and creative people are putting the needs of the MANY above the needs of themselves.

Senate and House elected officials should be limited to two (2) terms total in either House or Senate. Not two in each.

As George Mason once said "nothing is so essential to the preservation of a Republican government as a periodic rotation."
