initiate and support a bill to provide single payer healthcare/ Medicare for all.

HealthCare in the US has long been a deterrent to allowing people to pursue their dreams. So many feel locked into jobs in order to hold onto healthcare, while millions more can only hope to have the freedom to live their lives without the threat of economic disaster by injury or illness. A single payer/Medicare for all healthcare system will lower the cost of so many things like government, schools, auto and home insurance. In fact it would lower the operation costs of any business or service we use and hopefully those savings will be extended to the consumer. We are the only first world country without it and leaves us less competitive. It's time to have a real discussion about solving healthcare and medicare costs.
