Healthcare in the US has long been a deterrent to allowing people the freedom to pursue their dreams. So many feel locked into jobs in order to keep healthcare. Millions more can only hope to have the freedom to live their lives without the threat of economic disaster by injury or illness. A single payer/Medicare for all healthcare system will lower the cost of many things like government, schools, auto and home insurance. In fact, it would lower the operation costs of any business or service we use and hopefully, those savings will extend to the consumer. We are the only first world country without it.
