Introduce/sponsor in Congress for an amendment to the 14th Amendment of the Constitution which will grant US citizenship to persons born in the US and US territories only if at least one parent of the newbon is a US citizen or legal resident at time of birth.
The Citizenship Clause was found in the 14th Amendment in 1868. It is now 2014 and our respectable forefathers of their times did NOT envision such an interconnected world with such porous US borders. We hear in the news about "anchor babies" ranging from illegal or undocumented immigrants south of our borders to pregnant Chinese ladies giving birth in the US territory of Guam Island/Los Angeles suburbs.
Your action will close the loophole and return to FAIR and EQUITABLE treatment for all immigrants who follow the rules.
