Eliminate the Electoral College. Presidents will be elected by a majority of the popular vote. If no candidate receives a majority in the first scheduled election, a run-off election will be held two days after the initial election using the same ballot format as in the first election and including all of the original candidates. If after the run-off election, no candidate receives a majority, a second run-off election will be held one week later using the same ballots as in the first two contests. Votes for the top vote-receivers in order from largest vote-receiver down and totaling 75% of the vote together will be tabulated, and the candidate receiving a majority of those tabulated votes will become President.
