Our founding fathers bespoke the dangers of political parties, which have been realized. We the people, have determined that the de-facto two-party system is damaging to the liberty on which our nation was founded. Whereas small parties can help organize people and discuss issues, two giant parties has led to polarity, inaction and corruption. Additionally, what the parties represent is cloudy due to differences between regions. The president should initiate a constitutional referendum that specifically:
1. Limits individual party operations and fund-raising to individual state boundaries.
2. Only allows coalitions between state parties. Such coalitions can re-align any time.
That way, parties' power will be limited and parties will be more focused. It will also increase states' rights.
