Our current dollar is debted into existance. This has created a national debt in the tens of trillions of dollars. But in the early 1900s, an alternative existed, the "debt free" currency or the "greenback movement."
I petition the government to have all paper currency printed for the next ten years to be debt free currency rather than having it be debted into existance. Our coins are already debt free, and are issued by the treasury department. Our paper currency is loaned into existance and created by the Federal Reserve, a private bank contracted to print our paper currency.
I demand a debt free economic system that encourages people to save and create rather than endlessly chase the latest empty promise of easy money and shiny status symbols.
