It has been disclosed by Rep. McCarthy that the HR select committee established to investigate Benghazi was actually akin to a RNC PAC established to discredit a political rival. Rep Trey Gowdy of SC has knowingly led this political effort and wasted considerable public funds for political purposes. More than $4 million of public funds have been spent in this partisan effort. The RNC and Mr. Gowdy should refund the public and those those conspiring in this effort should be prosecuted.
