This petition asks for legislation to be initiated that would abolish the electoral college, and establish the popular vote as the means by which elections are decided.
This would make every one voice equal to the next, in honor of the spirit of equality. Voters would no longer have to worry about their location, or the location of others as a determining factor on the votes a person receives to get into office.
