initiate legislation in the Congress to create National Voting Regulations and Requirements.

Created by P.S. on November 07, 2012

While Americans must necessarily vote state-by-state, the rules and regulations surrounding voter registration, voter ID requirements, hours of operation for polling places, should be uniform, nationwide. For example, all polling places should have the same hours, all states should have the same absentee/early voting rules, all states should have the same registration/ID requirements. As a nation, we need to remove the ambiguity and fear that surrounds voting, so that Americans will be secure that they can vote with ease, that their votes will be counted, and that the systems in place that receive the votes are uniform, protected and secure.
