The real reason for the recent mass shootings in Aurora, CO, Newtown CN, Columbine, Virginia Tech, and on and on is mental illness. The desire to murder other human beings is a mental illness. Many insurance companies either underinsure or refuse to cover mental illness. As a result of recent legislation, many insurance companies are dropping mental illness coverage all together. This will lead to more of these types of crimes. This petition is created with the idea of forcing all insurance companies that provide health insurance to provide mental health coverage identical to their other health coverage.
