Initiate private housing rent regulation in the cities of Odessa and Midland, Texas.

Created by B.B. on January 08, 2013

A new oil boom has brought many new residents to the cities of Odessa and Midland, Texas located within Ector County. With this new jump start of our economy, rent and housing costs have skyrocketed to unreachable or unreasonable prices. Many people are homeless, and living in such harsh weather conditions of the Permian Basin puts many people's health and well-being at risk. We ask that the Federal Government, The Obama Administration, to regulate private housing and rent costs to further boost our economy and rid such a prosperous community of this problem. Thank you.
