Initiate the process to mplement congressional term limits.

Created by S.S. on December 28, 2012

Our current gridlock is too often based on our congressional representatives being too concerned with being reelected, instead of making good policy. Being elected as a congressman or senator should be viewed as an obligation, much the same as serving in the military. Our founding fathers didn't intend for election to be a career move. I believe the idea was you went to Washington and you served, possibly even putting a hardship on your family or business while gone. At the end of your term you returned to your life as an ordinary citizen. Being elected now is on par with winning a lottery, and term limits will change that. Term limits might also reduce the crazy amount of money spent on elections.
