The Electoral College is no longer needed. With access to the internet every vote in the nation can be counted nearly instantly, allowing for a truly democratic vote.
Your vote is unimportant in the long run as long as the Electoral College is in place, but if we moved to a popular vote instead, every voice is heard, and every election is the most accurate it can be.
