President Andrew Jackson was responsible for the Trail of Tears. Thousands of Native Americans perished on the forced march to Oklahoma. We need to show remorse and contrition for our tragic history. Having President Jackson on our currency is an insult and disservice to our ongoing healing and reconciliation process with the first nations in North America.
