Initiate Term Limits on all Publicly Elected Positions

This is self explanatory. This is common sense. Common sense dictates any person in the same position for an extended period of time becomes complacent and inept. Public service should be a civic duty and not a career. This would also erase the perception, either real or imagined, that elected officials are beholden to lobbyists and campaign contributors. A regularly rotated crop of elected officials will keep a more accurate pulse on the political landscape and encourage fresh ideas at a time when we need it most. This is not a indictment on all current distinguished political careerists, rather a call for sensability.
