Initiate a world wide, legally binding climate treaty.

Created by B.G. on April 05, 2014

The treaty would require it’s signatories to cut their CO2 emissions by 30% by the year 2020. The treaty would ban the construction of all coal fired power plants unless they could be proven to artificially sequester 100% of their CO2 reliably. All coal fired plants would have to be shut down by the year 2025 unless they could be proven to sequester all their CO2 without failure 100% of the time. Any country that does not sign or ratify the treaty would be subject to an international economic embargo by all the participating countries and could face the possibility of being barred from sitting on the UN security council and potentially even suspension from the UN general assembly.
