The mistreatment of injured workers is costing tax payers billions of dollars.
1. We need a true no fault system. Injured workers face discrimination and need to be in a system which encompasses all types of healthcare and injuries not just work related.
2. They need the means to obtain a way to move forward in life after an injury. Retraining.
3. The Culture should be to promote safety not hide injuries to lower safety statistics falsely. It should not be one of bias against injured workers to protect employers who are not collecting safety data. It should not be to assist Insurance Corporations in disingenuous practice of denying legitimate claims for stakeholders.
4. Healthcare Providers must not be connected to insurers/employers in order for the best prognosis to occur.
