Innovate the government and empower the American People. Random citizens should represent Americans in Congress.

Currently a large majority of our Congress are millionaires many times over while most Americans survive on far less. Their worries and concerns are vastly different than the people they claim to represent. A citizen can be randomly pulled for jury duty to decide matters of life and death for a $40 per day stipend. If that is possible I believe it is possible to randomly select citizens to serve a term in Congress for upwards of $191,000 a year which would be a great increase for most Americans. Ordinary people representing America would be less likely to vote along party lines and would likely be more personally affected by legislation. Currently we are governed by an oligarchy Congress who is so far removed from whom they represent that they look to their own self interests first.
