They've been waiting to bring 4 year-old Anastasia home for almost a year, now. They traveled to Russia, have met her, told her "We are going to be your parents," and she promised she would wait for them.
Now, men who have never met them, men with no compassion, have decided to ban all adoptions between Russia and the US, INCLUDING adoptions which are currently in progress.
Russia is a sovereign nation and can legislate as it pleases. If they choose to block NEW adoptions, we must respect that. But to rip loving, waiting children from loving, waiting arms is not only cruel, it's a violation of human rights. We are obligated to defend American families.
