Insist that the Sudanese government pardon and release Meriam Ibrahim so she can be reunited with her husband.

I believe that the US government needs to do more in helping Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese mother who has been sentenced to death due to her religious beliefs. The US Government should express outrage publicly and to the Sudanese government about the conviction and sentence of Meriam Ibrahim for apostasy and adultery. The US government should also become actively involved in having Meriam Ibrahim pardoned and released from prison along with her son so they can be reunited with her husband and his father.
