By amending Executive Order 13514 to include requirements for electric vehicle charging stations (EVCSs) at designated federal facilities, we will improve the overall electric charging infrastructure in our cities while reducing unnecessary pollution. These EVCSs can be designated for government owned vehicles, federal employee personally owned vehicles, and/or available for public use. Additionally, the electricity consumed by EVCSs should only grant alternative fuel credits to the agency for locally generated electricity using renewable resources.
