We believe as the Human Rights Campaign that the issue at hand is same sex marriage. We believe that denying lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender’s same sex marriage is a violation of the Declaration of Independence (balancedpolitic.org), more specifically civil liberties. Denying the LBGT community marriage is also a form of minority discrimination. Our action plan is already happening. The Human Rights Campaign fights for LGBT equality in many states using, rally’s where you can sign petitions and protest in front of city hall. Our action plan is to set up an LGBT day to promote the rights for them. During this day there will be parades all over the country, protests, carnivals and festivals to raise money for the cures of HIV and AIDS.
