As climate-change has become an ever-present threat, to our lives and those of future generations to come, it is time to move in the right direction to combat these issues. A set of solar panels on the White House will set a precedent that our administration understands the invariable threat (rising sea levels, historic droughts, severe weather occurrences) we are presented with today.
President Obama stated in his recent inaugural address, “We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that failure to do so would betray our children and future generations.” Mr. President, we know you understand the severity of the issue at hand, but it is now time to exert your influence and take the first step to ameliorating the most pressing issue facing our society today.
