Instead of giving asylum to Muslims from Syria, the U.S. should give it to minorities persecuted by Muslims.

The current Administration decision to grant asylum to at least 10,000 Muslims from Syria is unfair and foolish. Unfair because Syria and other Islamic countries are homes to many minority ethnic and religious communities that have historically been oppressed by Muslims and treated as second class citizens. And foolish because as seen in Europe, these immigrants include people who disrespect local customs and laws.
