Instead of gun control and video game laws, shouldn't we be making new laws against bad parents who drink and do drugs..

Instead of making new laws against firearms, video games and television... shouldn't we be going right to the source to stop the gun violence? (Parents/Mothers that smoke, drink, do drugs, and other harmful things while they are pregnant, which causes the unborn child to develope incorrectly.) I find it funny that Mr Obama wants to do more research on Mental Illness, yet totally ignores where the mental illness starts. These parents who ignore the dangers while pregnant, would be one of the reasons why we have these mental illness problems in our society. How can we continue to blame guns, video games and television, yet not make these parents accountable for their own actions? You wouldn't let your animal with mental Illness and physical problems breed, but because we are human, it is ok.
