States should not have to petition to leave the Union. The Constitution guarantees the right to start over if ever the need arises. I believe that time has come. Corruption and greed has turned our political system into a joke.
I propose we start over by:
Limit terms in congress to a 2 term max in each position, and do away with lifetime benefits(healthcare/pensions) No more Golden Parachute
Add an Amendment that states -Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens that does not apply equally to the Congress; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Congress that does not apply equally to the citizens.
Impeach Congress and the President and hold new elections to get fresh faces and ideas.
Remember: Government works for the People!
