Instead of threatening a government shut down every few months, cut the pay and benefits of the members of Congress, the Senate and the White house.
Those in Washington seem to forget that they represent and work for the American people, not themselves or their political parties.
It is time to stop making the American people suffer because those in Washington cannot or will not do the jobs for which they were elected.
The American people should not feel the effects of Washington's differences of opinions, personal vendettas, pride, or stubborn stances.
Remember who you work for, what your job is and stop abusing your positions!
