Instigate a congressional hearing to end the unreasonable delay and lack of care for injured soldiers by the VA.

The current claims and compensation system used by the VA often involves unreasonable delays in providing the care needed for the men and woman who have served this country. Currently the burden of proof is placed upon the Veteran and the VA treats all veterans as though there injuries do not exist until they decide otherwise. The current claim process has an increasing backlog over the last decade and yet little reform has been made. Those who have chosen to serve this country are entitled to health care benefits, along with death and disability compensation benefits for service-connected injuries. There need to be policy reform to establish timelines in which the VA must process these claims, and to cease violating a veterans 5th amendment rights of due process.
