Given the lack of attention paid to military veterans and other crucially important but less lucrative issues, and the overwhelming interest of lawmakers in committees for which powerful and wealthy lobbies are concerned parties, there should be detailed financial audits for each member of congress that sits on these committees, and their immediate families, detailing all sources of income and assets.
