The 2nd Amendment discussion on firearms control will probably last as long as it took to ratify the Constitution.
The People need action now.
As the country is rebounding from a financial downturn, now would be the time to institute a federal gun buy-back program, so we can start now towards eradicating many of the senseless killings plaguing our country.
This program should be administered by federal marshals, with "no questions asked". The weapons should be melted-down, the material recycled.
I ask my fellow countrymen, and women to support this petition, that we might - in the short run, work towards responsible gun ownership, as opposed to endless hearings, promulgation of fear, propaganda, lobbying and lunacy.
