We petition the U.S. Government to institute Edward Snowden national holiday similar to Martin Luther King day.
Edward Snowden will be a National Holiday to commemorate a historic act by a young NSA employee, who blew the whistle on an unprecedented corruption and deprivation of civil rights of millions of Americans achieved through an unholly allience between overreaching U.S. government and large communications and Internet corporations.
Martin Luther King fought for civil rights of roughly 10% of Americans. Snowden fights for the rights of 100% of American citizens to be free from warrant-less searches and seizures of our phone records, e-mail records, bank and credit card records,
