English is a language used all around the world and across the US as a universal language that many people speak, and utilize it in tasks like commerce and trade.
However there are many people that come to the US that speak a different language and don't know English.
This creates a communication barrier between them and the majority of US citizens that speak ONLY English.
To solve this issue i propose that English be made the official US language and that all US citizens be required to speak it as a first language or learn to speak it if needed at a free Govt Provided English class.
It would make commerce, trade, and communications amongst citizens much more convenient and efficient, if we could all speak the same language amongst each other.
