Denmark has recently begun generating increased tax revenues from unhealthy foods. Because the United States is deeply in debt, many new sources of revenue should be considered. Taxing something that is ultimately harmful to the health of Americans will result in either increased revenue from taxes, or a decrease in costs of health care due to the decreased sale of unhealthy food.
