institute an immediate hiring freeze across the Federal government until our national debt falls below $16 trillion.

Created by J.P. on December 27, 2012

The Federal government has added over 100 employees a day, on average, for 7 days a week, since President Obama first took office. Federal jobs average $80K/year.

Our national debt has skyrocketed and threatens all of our futures as well as those of generations to come.

When a private sector company has huge debt, they do not keep hiring. We the people demand the Federal government stop hiring and grow no further until our debt again falls below $16T - any future increase in the debt above $16T will automatically trigger a hiring freeze.

On July 3, 2008, presidential candidate Barack Obama said "we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic."

Lets be patriotic Mr President!
