Firearms Liability Insurance would assure accountable responsibility on the part of the firearm owner to prevent accidents, theft and/or fraud and to put the cost of recovery on the perpetrator/owner rather than the victim. The cost of mandatory automobile liability insurance hasn't taken anyone off the road and neither would insuring firearms.
