Violence is promoted through video games, sports, and the media. The target audience is our teenagers. If they serve in the military they will: 1. Satisfy their curiosity of weapons. 2. Come out with a useful skill or trade (mechanic, pilot, cyber technician). 3. Can attend higher education institutions more focused on a specific career track instead of wasting time AND MONEY trying to decide on a career path.
Our society and country need a change. Mandatory military service could address a number of problems we currently face.
