Increase government efficiency and fiscal responsibility by requiring that all government agencies, including congress, operate with the expectation of making a profit as in the private sector. No demand for a return on investment by the stockholders (taxpayers) encourages complacency. We the people should demand efficient operations and a return on our mandatory investment in government. We should not be forced to support multiple layers of bureaucracy, duplicate responsibilities among agencies and payment for services that are not performed satisfactorily if they are even performed at all.
