The kind of racial hatred that lead to the murder of 9 African-Americans on June 17, 2015 has been fostered and encouraged for generations and can be very difficult to unlearn. But if hatred can be taught, so can love and acceptance. I propose instituting a national K-12 public school program/curriculum to combat racism and encourage positive relations among Americans of every color.
