Banks are refusing to follow the guidelines under HARP to refinance homeowners who are underwater in their homes. There are people who have never been late on a payment and WANT to stay in their homes even though their loans are higher than the home value, with excellent FICO scores, and they still won't help their "valued" customers. They got their bailout and are still hoarding their big money and not coming through with their end of the bargain.
I believe the banks need more incentive to drive them to help their customers according to the HARP guidelines to stop the millions of people continuing to lose their homes and ruin their financial futures for years to come.
