This petition is to start a discussion on the benefits of changing the standard five-day work week, to a four-day work week.
This change would improve the quality of life for Americans by giving them more time to enjoy life, whether that time is spent being with their family, enjoying the scenery of this beautiful country, partaking in local events, etc.
This could help improve the economy by allowing people more time to go out and enjoy life by giving them an extra day. This would increase the amount of money spent on goods and services.
It would also reduce energy usage by allowing most buildings to be closed an additional day. It would save gas by eliminating a day of commuting, allowing our roads to last longer.
