Institute a Poll Tax

This petition has been formed to advocate the institution of a poll tax of $200 dollars to vote for president every election. Poll taxs were done away with on the grounds that they are discriminatory against the poor, however this is not true, especially when the tax is so reasonable. A poll tax of $200 is less than $1 every week between elections. This one dollar every week can be aattained by anyone, and if one can not come up with one dollar every week for 4 years, they're most likely to stupid or lazy to be trusted with such a serious responsibility. Let's institute a poll tax so those who only take but do not contribute to our society will no longer be able to vote for candidate's who advocate handouts and to discourage those who do not follow the issues, who dont care, from voteing
