To bring about economic recovery it is essential to enact legislation to:
Revise the tax code to apportion the tax burden fairly at ALL income levels
Provide a fair living wage to create jobs by stimulating demand for products
Limit issuance of work visas and offshoring of jobs while US unemployment rates are high
Close tax loopholes that allow corporations and the wealthy to skirt their tax obligations
Rebuild our crumbling infrastructure
Encourage technology and science research and properly fund NASA and the NSF
Stimulate production of energy from alternative and renewable sources
Remove inefficiency and waste at all levels of government
Create training and education programs for trades and skills that are being lost
Reform the education system to be efficient and effective
