The insurance industry is unnecessary and keeps our healthcare costs high. The poor cannot afford healthcare at all. Healthcare is a basic right of all people - as we have the right to life (and liberty and the pursuit of happiness).
We need a single payer system so that all Americans have access to quality medical care.
