Family values are a clear issue in America, as violence and bullying go through the roof. This could be helped by families spending more time together, and parents having an opportunity to instill proper values in their children.
However, in today's American society, most parents spend so much time working just to pay the bills that there's little time left over to spend as a family.
Introducing a standard 4 day work week and three day weekend would enable families to spend more time as families (as well as more time out doing things together such as shopping or taking trips, which can help stimulate the economy). American morale would increase exponentially, and we could all get back to taking our place as a country that we are proud to call the greatest in the world.
