Our federal government should be working harder to protect our rights as consumers and better regulate the monopolizing airline industry. Many Americans are forced to pay obscene amounts for airline tickets and airlines are allowed to raise the prices at will. It is absurd that within a single hour the price of an airline ticket can increase over $100. In the name of consumer protection, airline ticketing must be regulated.
