Institute term limits for Congress! An amendment limiting Congressional Terms to 6 terms for HOR and 2 Terms for Senate.

Created by T.M. on March 17, 2014

An amendment to limit terms for Congress to the following: No person can serve more than six (6), two (2) year terms for the House of Representatives. No Person can serve in the Senate for more than two (2), six (6) year terms. Its time for the congress to be truly by the people and for the people. The "people" being non career politicians. Term limits will institute more a constituent perspective on the laws enacted by congress, instead of a campaign fund perspective. This will cut down on large corporations and or other wealthy individuals or groups controlling the government. Career politicians more often than not loose touch of what the common people are experiencing. Career politicians also vote themselves special benefits not available to common people.
