As we all know the president of the United States is limited to 2 terms of office. Yet the Congress has the potential once elected to remain comfortably sitting in office indefinitely. We the people of the united states believe that this is entirely to much power to be entrusted to the officials that have been elected. We propose that Senators be held to two terms in elected office, and Representatives to four terms. Doing so would allow for more balance in government giving no Senator the ability to be elected more times than a President and no Representative to hold office for a duration longer than the Presidents elected terms.
